Ryden Lettings in Hanover Street are pretty good with finding rentals for ex-pats. But be warned. You may have to offer to pay the rent six months in advance to secure the let. Now that banks require fairly large deposits before they will lend on property, there really isn't as much rental property on the market in edinburgh compared to the past. And what there is has become quite expensive.
