Okay, guys. Many people I know who have lived in SE Asia tell me, "Wear boxer shorts", but in my experience, I need cotton underwear that hugs my skin to avoid chaffing. Talcum powder is good.
I'm wondering what, if anything, you SE Asian residents do to avoid chaffing or the dreaded crotch rot? 
Crotch rot - Not a nice subject, but how do you avoid?

Cotton close fitting boxers, shower daily and talc if its needed.
