Hi,
Does anyone know a safe, efficient and inexpensive way to transfer (or send through a company like American Express) euros to a Chinese bank account? Tried to have someone do it from a German bank last year and 25% or the money was "lost" somewhere along the way. Bummer!

Send the funds through HSBC in Hong Kong. Don't send into mainland China, it's a real hassle.
