Hi People,

I will be moving to Riyadh in 2 weeks. I would require some information on the accomodation and life in Riyadh.

People say that there is no life in Riyadh.If thats the case, then how can i keep myself busy? Are there any good gyms and swimmimg pools. People suggest to live in a compound. How expensive are the compounds? I will be working with a automobile company in the Gharnatah area, dammam road. IS there any good compound nearby? Are there any good sports club available on subscription?

Also I would like to know the do's and dont's. I have also heard that single men cannot enter in all malls? Is it true?

I believe this forum would be able to provide with information and some good sugestions.

Hi,

There are compounds not to far from you, Alhambra, Cordoba etc.
Compounds are expensive but there are waiting lists.
Do a search on the forum and you will find details of compounds.

Be sure to sort out accomiodation before you arrive.

There are various activities in Riyadh, again the blog is a good source of information.
