Pathetic emtel internet speed in Maurituis

Emtel is currently encountering some problems with its network. My neighbour is facing the same issue.

Please contact emtel customer service to have a idea of when the issue will be resolved.

I would suggest you to stick with emtel because as a MyT user I'm not satisfied with their service.

Indeed there was an incident last week (issues with submarine cables), try to check their fb page, they posted about it. You may also contact them for any update.

It affected MyT likewise.

Definitely, there was some damage on the LION cable a week back and this caused disruption to the internet service of both Emtel and MyT.

Things should have been back to normal now. If the problem persists, then it might be something else and in this case, I would suggest you contact the service provider.
