I am wondering if you can give me some advice please.
I married an Egyptian man in 2006, our son was born in 2007 in the UK, my husband and I are now divorced and he has Egyptian wife.
He has recently told me that earlier this year he has registered my sons birth in Egypt. Please can you tell me if this is legal and how I can sort this as my son is extremely upset by it all.
Please can someone give me some advice.

No one can register New Born in Egypt
without report from the hospital who was borned In..

yes ... he can ..... the father is egyptan .... and he has a birth certificate of the son , born in UK ..... so , he can issue a birth certificate for his son that he was born in UK.
this is not a problem at all. the son will be double nationality.
there is no contradiction with his british birth certificate

i am sorry .. i don't have info about this.
however , i wonder if it is possible to register the child , and issue egyptian birth certificate for him , without proof from UK about the name of his father .
