Your Experiences of Working in Penang?

Ive worked in KL Malaysia and live now in Penang. I prefer Penang to KL as its more beautiful and international plus relaxing.

What more can I say.

You can check out the cost of living at NUMBEO website. There are thousands of blogs and websites about Malaysia and Penang (because its a tourist centre)

You need a job - so concentrate of that angle first.

The reason you need a job is because that would provide you with a work permit and enable you to live and work in Malaysia.

You could join FB group "Expats in Penang" and take a look at the discussions or ask some more detailed questions there.

International schools are the only real option because the education is in English if the curriculum is the British one.

Government schools are taught in Malay

There are independent Chinese and Tamil schools as well
