Hi and welcome to the Forum.
All work visas (pretty much everywhere in the world) are by nature temporary, but most give you the opportunity to apply for settled status (or equivalent) after a length of time.
The Dutch equivalent of what you're describing is described on the Dutch Government website; this link will take you there.
