Type of contract

I was told in Labor Office that all non saudis is limited or fixed term contract. It is there in Article 55  (1) and Article 37 of Saudi Labor Law but my company argue that we are in unlimited contract and consider our non renewal of contract as resignation. Please give your idea or comment in this topic. Thank you.

I am facing an issue regarding the same
I am under fixed term contract , I resigned before the end of my contract and the employer is imposing me to pay the 2 months notification period
Any advice ? I am obliged to give 2 months as notice period under limited contract of one year ?
