Does anyone know approximately how long it takes to set up Electricity and Wifi in Punta Cana? Trying to figure out if I should pay someone in advance. So that the services will be on when I return.

You likely must do this yourself as contracts get signed.

With electricity 3 to 5 days. Wifi will depend on the company used but again 3 to 5 days.

Remember always those are working days. Don't count weekends, holidays, rainy storm days, birthdays, really hot days or days after a weekend or holiday! (Partly kidding)

Thank you. My realtor had me to believe it would take weeks. And wanted to charge me US $150 to go and do it for me. I will just stay in a hotel until the electricity is turned on.
