I have the opportunity to take a 6 to 9 mth assignment in Shenzhen. I will be bringing my one year old baby. Curious what the biggest cons are with being alone in city with baby. Appears childcare mostly begins at age 2. Would like to talk to others moms in Shenzhen if possible

Hi Tmm,
It's true, there is hardly any childcare for 1years old. There r only a few places like gymboree and such For your baby but you have to be with him/her at all times.
You can also hire a Chinese nanny here but you have to be very careful selecting a good helper.
