Morning
I am a Electrical site suppervisor in South Afrika thinking of Immigrating to New Zealand I have a wife and two girls.
The problem that I have is that I can not figure out what the living cost will be for us in Wellingten for a family off 4 and if the rate that I can get on that side will be sefisiant for us to live on.

You will have to sit an NZ exam to be able to trade as an electrician here. The building and construction industry here cannot get enough tradesmen.

The average hourly rate in Wellington is NZ$26.79c

You should look at applying for work before you head over as employer will take care of visas etc. Try www.seek.co.nz or a good old Google search.
