Hi. Just want to ask.
I got my SPass this month and Im currently working in a restaurant but I want to find a new job because of having some problem in the staff and managers whom I worked with.
My passport will expire on Jan 2020.. Is there any conflict in my passport if I want to change new employer? Is the expiration date of passport will be an issue on my next application?
By the way, I cannot renew my passport yet because my off day falls every Sunday and I cannot request for change off day because we do not have enough manpower.

You mean your passport will expiry in January, 2019 (you have mentioned 2020).

Your work pass approval will be based on several factors but certainly passport expiry will not have any impact, if it expires in 2020 but if it expires in Jan 2019 which is less than 6 months now, then MoM will ask to renew your passport. In fact you can't book flight tickets if it's less than 6 months. You have to renew your passport without any delay, if it expires in Jan'19. Good luck
