Cost of TWO BEDROOM apartment in Dusseldorf

There are multiple websites for finding rentals; look at Google for “Wohunung mieten Düsseldorf”. The cost depends on location and number of rooms but also the size. I am posting some links below.

Something one should aware of is that furnished places are very rare and generally expensive in Germany. If you are staying for a year or more then it is usually better to buy basic furniture and then sell, give it away or even throw it away when you leave. Places like Ikea are cheap but good for everything you need. Or one can also look for cheap  used furniture.

It is difficult to find an apartment anyway, by narrowing it down to a furnished place you are making it harder. And many places then charge double or more the normal amount for rent for a furnished place. The only exceptions I know of are sometimes students or young people that sublet their room or small apartment with furniture for little extra cost because they will return after a set period of time after having a semester abroad or a long travel. But this is usually just 1 room in a shared apartment or a 1 room apartment.

Something to watch out for is if there is a real kitchen. I don't know if it is common in any other countries but often a long term rental in Germany has a bare room for a kitchen and you have to get everything built in! But over the years it has become more and more common that apartments come with a kitchen complete with all cabinets and appliances. This is called an “Einbauküche”.

With your overly strict requirements, you will likely pay over €2000/month - IF after a long search (it can take months) you find something at all.
But if you take an unfurnished place (with kitchen equipment included, as Tom suggested) and are willing to pay for your water/heating per usage (which is the usual way) and register for electricity/TV/Internet on your own, you will pay less than half of that and have more places to choose from.
