I am moving to Belize and coming in under QRP status thus bringing a car. It has to be no more than 5 years old. Dilemma: new car I am paying for a warranty. Does a warranty on a car sold in US get honored in Belize (assuming for example they have a Toyota dealer).?

There is a Toyota dealership in Belize It might be prodiuctive to google it and contact them to check. Have they changed the rules I thought QRP stated 3 years or less for vehicles.

Apparently there are newer guidelines now that state 5 years -
"(1) Personal Motor Vehicle – Model of must be within the last 5 years (Allowed to purchase a new vehicle every 3 years with proper disposal of previous vehicle)"
