Hello everyone, first post on this site!
I'm wondering what the club scene is like in Vietnam for electronic music in general? From what I've seen and heard it's fairly edm/pop-ish trance based tunes which I can't say I'm too keene on. Is there any sort of Techno, Electro, Dub etc. based nights that go on over there?
Im planning on moving out to Ho Chi Minh in Jan to start teaching, but I'd also love to get involved with Djing myself at some of the clubs if that's even likely possible for expats??

I have no idea of where, but a fellow teacher friend had a regular weekend gig as a DJ in HCMC. I guess it is a job where language really doesn't matter, particularly with no lyrics in techno.

Hey. I have a few friends that plays minimal tech.. house.. etc.. scene in HCM and also club owners who cater for lots of expat/holiday goers.. not EDM/vinhouse stuff. PM me and I'll hook you up.
