Hi,

I got an offer for Malaysia(KL) with 2 years of visa but contract is 1 year and extendable. Company told me that they have long term project and will renew ur contract after one year and visa after 2yrs. My technical skill is very rare which is used in organizations so worry to get the opportunity again once contract finished. My total year of IT exp is 7 years in India.
Should i trust on this contract that they will renew it after one year completion?

Nothing in life is certain. If you like the package i.e. at least 40% higher than current pay and want the experience overseas then best to try it out. If you are not a flexible person and will find it lonely to move to a new city, then perhaps think again. Malaysia is pretty awesome

You mean your skill is rare so getting new contact should not be a problem?

Yes shrik, thinking about to get new contract in malaysia after finished of this. They are saying visa and contract renewable. So going to join on trust their words.
