The nightlife scene in Turkey

Hello,

Having access to a good nightlife scene can be a determining factor for many expats upon choosing their next destination. Tell us more about the nightlife in Turkey.

In Turkey, what is the nighlife culture like: is it common for people to go out at night? Is there a big difference between the nightlife during the weekdays and weekends?

What are the most popular evening or nighttime activities (e.g. bars, nightclubs, shows, cultural activities, etc.)?

Is it safe to venture out in the evening and at night in Turkey?

Is there anything in particular that surprised you about the nightlife in Turkey?

Are there any apps or websites (or any other resources) that would help in staying informed about evening and nighttime activities?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Turkey doesn't has nightlife. İf you want to come for nightlife, i dont advice you. Because alchool is very expensive. Also you can live problems at nightlife

It depends what you mean by 'good nightlife'; if it is good family environment, then there are many sites where the city doesn't sleep; if it is alcohol and night clubs, then perhaps go elsewhere and let Turkey be - thank you.

In the tourism areas in turkey have pretty good nighy time events. Here in alanya you can go out almost everynight to the bar strip and its always upbeat and people drunk everywhere. You can basically get drunk anywhere, on a plane, on a boat, in a Restraunt or on the beach side. Lots of russia, german, duch and Swedish. The clubs here are also pretty nice the bars are plenty but the ones with people tend to be the once with best quality alchohol.

Hello,

The nightlife in Turkey is pretty active in ankara istanbul izmir marmaris cesme bodrum etc. Places like these. Every single day there is something you can do, but on days like saturday friday and wednesday it is very lively and active. The activities are more likely night clubs, bistris and bars. You can find them on foursquare or on any website you look up on google.

I hope this will help you.
