I'd like to get a furnished studio apt or furnished bedroom with private bath in Búzios June-Aug.,nothing fancy but with a view of the ocean.Buzios seems to be pretty affordable.Any info would be very appreciated.I speak tolerable Portuguese,and am not wealthy.I'd also like to know about safety.

Check out AirB&B. We've had good luck with them all over Brazil, and many hosts offer a discount for monthly stays.

Abthree is right! Airb&b is just the best option to rent places all over Brasil. Its much cheaper than Hotels and you get to choose exactly what you need. Just go for it
