It means that you will get cash per month of 45,000.  It is the categorization of your package between salary and benefits.  Because both are handled differently in many areas such as increases, end of service calculation, labor law etc.

It is a good salary to live on.  However, the major expense that you will have (excluding accommodation) is schooling and medical.  Make sure that they cover that.   Really good schools for 2 kids can easily eat up a third of your monthly salary.

Thank you for your reply. Medical is covered and school fee is covered 70%. In addition, every year flight back and come with 4 family.
