Passport taken for residency process

Dear all,

I received a job offer from one of the most powerful brand in Kuwait.They will initiate my residency process by taking my passport once I get onboarded.The residency process would take around 2 months.So,my question is:Let's assume that I'd like to resign from my job before my residency process gets completed;can I get my passport easily or wait for my residency process to be completed?

Hope you give me a clue about this,

Yes , you can take passport immediately anytime, because the residency process have many procedures such medical test , finger print check ....etc , after all the procedures finish , the last step will be stamping the residency sticker on your passport.

I recommend you also to check with your company management about the company policies regarding taking your passport back.
