Get the right people to the right job in Indonesia?

hi, it is difficult to get the right people to yhe right job?

Depending on the job, but as a rule of thumb especially if you are not familiar with the area etc it can be extremely difficult,
Building works and all connected trade to it is seldom monitored in fact almost never monitored

The requirements for expat labour in Indonesia are very strict which makes it harder for companies to recruit people from overseas and retain them. Whilst not impossible it can be time consuming for an employer to ensure that all the requirments are met.

There is a fear that many jobs will be lost due to foreigners taking over jobs here which will cause more unemployment. There are many issues with this such as unskilled workers from China being brought over to work as they are cheaper and people working  on the wrong visas.

It is correct the government protects Indonesia against these things but it is trying to make it more simple for expats to come here and work although there are still many hurdles one has to jump.

Employment can be sought quite quickly if the individual has skills that an Indonesian does not possess and is in a field of expertise, and this is closely monitored by many parts of government, such as manpower and immigration.

It all depends. If you are highly skilled with corporate experience and advanced qualifications it is possible by going through the larger recruitment companies and headhunters. But the best and easiest is if you don't have those skills or qualifications such as English teachers and then getting a job is a doddle and there are lots of those type and salaries are generally small. There are however skilled teachers as well in Indonesia which can be found in International Schools and they get paid accordingly.

To answer properly, we need more details.
Are you looking for expats or locals?
What types(s) of jobs?

Luke's post gave good general information but no one can answer properly without the correct information.

I'm taking a wild shot in the dark you're looking for experienced staff, likely in a technical/management capacity, so it's probably best to state that in order to avoid rubbish answers about teachers or trash collectors.
