Rent depends on a number of factors...location, type, settings, etc...average rent is anything between MUR 10,000 to 20,000 for a basic room including utilities.

Price for renting an apartment at walking distance from the beach will be between Rs 18000 to Rs 25000 excluding electricity, cable Tv and internet.
