Hi,

We are planning to build a small hotel in the south of Sri Lanka. The design is not ready yet but we are trying to gather inforamtion about the costs. Have anyone had a BOQ made for a construction that you could share with me? I am aware that all BOQs will be different, depending on the design, but I am hoping to be able to gather some information about construction costs.

And also, can anyone recommened someone to do a BOQ for us when the design is ready?

Hi Lisa

I work with bills of quantities on a daily basis (I'm a commercial manager with a background in quantity surveying).

That being said I'm not really sure how one would help you in seeing construction costs (assuming you are looking at total end cost). Companies typically load rates and there will be items for prelims.
