Hi, I'm Cliana and I am going to be moving to Ajman to teach in the SABIS school there from August 2018. I have been working in Dublin the last 5 years as a preschool teacher.
Can someone give me some advice on what to expect with moving to Ajman? The school I will be working with is providing me with accommodation so I am hoping to meet people because of this but would like to know is there places that expats go to meet or anywhere in the city that is good to socialise. I have been doing a bit of research and so far all I've found is the Outsider bar where I'm assuming many expats go to socialise.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There are cafes, good restaurants and if you travel to Dubai there are bars, pubs and many events takes place. My suggestion would be get settle and post office hours try to explore the city on your own, that way you can interact with people and get to know about the joints where you can visit later...You can travel any where in UAE.
