Hi I need everybody's advice I'm interested in Opening up a dollar store in the Dominican Republic. What do you think about that. Everyone hung in the store would not be higher than a dollar.

Well there is something called a dollar store in Sosua but I am not sure anything is a dollar.
Yes that kind of store where things are truly $1 would go over very well! BUT you need to be in the right areas!
You would sell huge volume in certain areas of Santo Domingo, for sure in Santiago, Likely in Puerto Plata, La Romana, San Pedro de Macoris etc.
Where are you thinking to locate?

There is a Dollar Store in Sosua and as Planner says, hardly anything $1, but not very expensive. They have a variety of lower end stuff, non-perishable food, small toys, hardware, home products, etc.
