Hello everyone,

Am preparing to come work in Casablanca in the next 2 months. I had been to Rabat last year, and Morocco is a very beautiful country

I need some advice on cost of living in Casablanca and salary that can properly accommodate a single person, in a secure and relatively peaceful environment. Am planning to spend 3500 DH on rent, is this feasible?

Will really appreciate your help guys, and maybe i can make friends to take me around Casablanca when i move there. Cant wait to try chicken tagine again

Hi Peter,

You would normally need 600 Euro per month for a one bedroom apartment in Casa in a good neighbourhood.
Other than that, once you get familiar with your neighbourhood, living expenses is not that high. Food is relatively cheap, although not of the best quality!
Transportation is also not expensive.....
