How to get permanent residency in Romania ?

For a one year temporary visa I was required to provide proof:
* Certificate of health from a local doctor
* International health insurance
* Apartment lease
* Employment/volunteer contract
* Pay various fees

Thanks JohnnyStLouis so it was one year temporary visa but how about the Permanent residency ?Do you own one  and does it also called permesso di soggiorno as in Europe ?

I don't know about the document you are referring to. I can only say that as far I know I will be getting a yearly renewal for a few years unless some wickedly seductive woman steals my heart.

Permesso di soggiorno is just for Italy.
