Hello Guys. My name is Kartikeyan from India getting married to a Malaysian. I just need to know some information and hope you guys can help me out. I will be visiting Malaysia on a social visit and then apply for my ROM. I read somewhere that i should not be on Special pass when i am applying for my ROM. Looking for your suggestions and answers. Do check the timing as I think you have to be in Malaysia for 7 days* before you can apply and then wait 3 weeks before the marriage can take place. Which is why many people have their honeymoon before they get married.
* at least you can spend those 7 days getting all the paperwork approved and authenticated. It's a long tedious process from Single Certificate being issued onwards.
