Hi we have just purchased a holiday home on CV in Sal. Its an apartment in a managed block. We have assumed that the the block will be insured by the management company as it is in the UK.
Could anybody clarify whether this is the case or whether we need to sort out our own building insurance?

Hi Chris,
Would it not make sense to ask the management company if they insure the block??? Why did you not ask before you purchased? How is anyone in this forum going to know for sure?
