Hi,
My boyfriend applied for an Occupational Permit as a Self-Employed individual and I would like to know what the odds are of the BOI approving the OP?
We need to finalize things before we leave for Mauritius and we are not sure if we should rather wait in the case that they decline the permit?

Hi,
If you have submitted all the required documents and completed all the formalities as they should be, then there's no reason why your request won't be approved.
However, there's no 100% certainty to that...even well done, an application can get rejected or takes longer to be approved.
Better wait for a definite response from the BOI before starting the move.

An application remains an application, it got chances to be accepted or rejected. If the applicant respects all the conditions then he's got more success chances. I don't think anyone can comment with definite answers here since we don't have any detail on the applicant and his application / project.
