Looking for advice from expats in Berlin.

My Girlfriend and I are moving to Berlin sometime this coming Fall. I speak fluent German and she speaks fluent Spanish. At the moment, she is learning German at the Goethe institute and has English teaching accreditation from the TEFL institute in Chicago. I'm looking for advice from other expats in Berlin on the logistics of starting a new life in abroad. What are the job prospects in Berlin for young college graduates?

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

(please don't just send a link to the Bundesagentur fuer Arbeit!)

Hi Alex,

nice that you are coming to Berlin. It should not be so difficult for you to find a job here...
Maybe I can also help you because I'm doing recruiting for a couple of start-ups in the city.

You will find lots of vacancies in the field of online marketing or you can just have a look at the multinational companies located in Berlin (Bayer, BASF, Siemens....)

The way of life here is quite different from other places. Don't know actually how you live in Chicago but here you can live with 6-700 euro per month...

Maybe you are already here...if so I think you already have something :)
