Hi,

I'm a Mauritian who wants to get married to a Russian, in Mauritius. We are preparing all the documents required but still have some questions. We are really confused and hope to have some help from anybody.

How do we go about it? Should all the original documents (from Russia) which are required for marriage and residence permit application in Mauritius (birth certificate, certificate of morality, passport and bank statement) be translated, then notarised and bear an apostille?
So in all, for every russian document we will need 3 documents: the original, a translated copy, and a notarised document with an apostille?

Hi,
You are absolutely right. As you said you will need 3 copies of the documents: the original, translated and apostilled one. Your fiancé can also find a group on fb which is called маврикиечки. There she can contact russian ladies who live in mauritius.
