Hi,

So I would like to know if I should take a chance applying for British Passports for my children?
Here is my situation.

1. I was born in SA and got my ancestral British passport through my dad who was born in the UK.
2. My daughters were both born in SA.
3. I was told that they cannot apply for passports because I was born in SA and not in the UK.
4. We currently live in SA.
5. What are my options?

I read somewhere that they can apply if they are under 16 because their grandparents(my dad) are British born.

So the web is so full of information I don't know who to listen to and if I should try or not?
