Could someone make it clear please. I found some contradictory information about possibility of changing tourist status to working visa according to the new law. The main question of course is should a person leave and re-enter the country in new status or could be changed without leaving it.

The last couple I know to try to change status like this were required to leave and then come back in. No more changing status without leaving under the new law.
