The first way would be to go on line. You might also ask around about where some of the foreigner or Farang hangouts are coffee shops, restaurants, or bars. In Chiang Mai there are Tuk Tuks that people use for getting around. They are a bit expensive for getting around. But those drivers know a few things about what's going on and where. It would be wise to exercise some caution when dealing with those guys. As friendly as they are they might have some interest, such as finders fees. Use good sense.
