Hello, my family of four is considering moving to Puerto Rico. My daughters are very involved in playing softball here in the USA. In researching a few English instruction schools in PR, it doesn't seem that softball is a school sport. Can anyone tell me if it is played there, either in school or in rec leagues? Thanks.

It is played but Baseball is the main sport of PR.

Baseball is more popular than soccer on the island. The problem you are going to run into is the private english schools have very small class sizes (60-80 people in a graduating class) which makes it very difficult to field a full team.
If softball is important to you then you might have to look at schools with larger population than the private ones.

It's a poor island, especially after Hurricane Maria. The puplic schools won't have sports, but private will/may, depening on location.
