Resignation before contract expiration (3 years contract)

Hello,

I am working for a manpower supply company here in saudi arabia for 6 months now. My contract is 3 years with the company. Now I was supplied to a big company and now they want to hire me. They kept on asking me if my iqama is transferable but for what I have read in some forums all iqamas are transferable the thing is only if the employer wills it. So in this case I don't think they will be giving me any clearance or transferring to the company I am supplied with right now. So what I was thinking is trying to resign so I can get my final exit from my company and get a new one for my new employer.

My question now is is it possible? or what are the implications of resigning under my contract since I have only been working for 6 months.

Thanks guys!

you can but you have  resign and get an exit from your current company . then you must  leave Saudi for 90 days before reapplying for visa and iqama with a new company. as far as i know

Thanks Mr. David for the information.
