Hello to ALL.
My son, 19 years old, want to become a marine.
He has NO sea experience, I think it would be good for him to go on the sea as a trainee preferably on a small yacht, or with a fisher to be confronted to the rough sea.
Does anyone have an idea or suggestion?

Your son is in Baguio City not USA? correct? - many large fishing boat in P.I., have him work on large fishing boat for his meals for about a month to feel rough seas. Just a suggestion. Good Luck - by the way, some marines don't see water at all in their tour of duty.

If he need some exceprinaces on the seas, yes fishing boat but I mean the big fishing boats that go out at the sea for month or so, and wants to be involved with out been payed yes there will be lots, I know in Australia they do this all the time, even for a day if someone wish to help fishing boats and they always give you plenty of fish to take home but no pay.
