Hi all,
Can anyone give me some advice or information of the cost of running a central heating system (5 radiators) using a high efficiency combi boiler and bottled gas eg Cepsa butane ?
I am trying to make comparisons between the above, versus a log burner with a back boiler.

I use mains gas (we have it in our area) and a combi boiler. The costs are ok. I have 4 rads and I think the worst bill I had was 70 euros for the month during february. That was including supply and vat. The biggest saving is electric, not having heat up a load of water in a heater then not use it all!

Hi tenerifediver,
Thanks for your info. However, we don't have gas on tap like you have. So I am hoping someone using bottled gas can give me some pointers.
