Hi all. Just wanted to introduce ourselves, Paul and Belinda. We currently are living about an hour west of Edmonton Alberta, but are looking to purchase some property in Belize somewhere. Haven't decided quite where yet, probably will go down later this year and scope things out.
Looking forward to making new friends down that way. We have many skills and talents and are looking forward to a new lifestyle down south.

Hello and welcome to the forum! There is a wealth of information available on this site. Reading older threads can be helpful, as well as using the search function. The delay in anyone responding is because your post should have probably been moved to the "New members..." thread. Nonetheless, Welcome.
Do your due diligence if you are considering buying property, and visit a number of times before you commit to anything - Belize is not for everyone. There are wide differences between the different areas/regions. We used an attorney for closing to ensure there were no legal issues or concerns with the property and title. Prices have increased recently, or so I am told, but still a good value, depending on what you are looking for.
