Is construction still going on around the market and the street leading towards the Rex hotel? Was up there last year and it was still on-going, and no signs posted of an estimated completion date.

In 2020, once subterranean construction is complete, the above-ground portion of Quach Thi Trang will become a plaza, according to city planners. The area where the Zing once stood will be transformed into a skylight for the underground complex below.

Thanks guy, appreciate the reply and information. Wish it was going to be sooner than that but I guess with progress comes some inconvenience.

I did read a later article that said the completion date could be 2021-22 due to lack of funds.
