This country is voted the most expensive city in the world for consecutively 5 times in a row. So, visiting 1 month (assume you will stay at your friend or relative place). You can use your credit card if it has international acceptance.
You can bring few thousand Singapore dollars. Good luck

If you have no accommodation and need a hotel, this would cost you at least S$100/night - but could be several times that much.
On top of that, I'd recommend S$50-100/day for food, transportation and all other expenses - more if you are an avid shopper.
