I'm from banglore. I got offer to work in KL & I'm going. I smoked marijuana & I'm not regular consumer occasionally. I stopped smoking since 2 weeks. Does all employment visa applicants should do THC( urine) test on embassy. What if they find positive.
Please help me. My medical test appointment not yet fixed.
Does all the applicants of Malaysian visa will do drug(THC) test ?

Do you know which Category (I, II, or III) your professional employment pass will be? The categories are designated by the salary level. Monthly income below RM5k employees will have a medical both before departure and on arrival. A few occupational areas also seem to be medically tested, such as construction.

I don't think so. There are some checks for Indian citizens and of course the need for the VDR (single entry visa with reference from Mal. consulate in Chennai, Mumbai or Delhi). There are two types of immigration pass systems for working in Malaysia and they are Professional Pass or Foreign Worker employment pass. FWs ALL have the medicals. Salary alone is not an indication of which system someone is under.
