Hello everyone,

One among the various issue that many expatriates usually raise is Health Care. So, I think it would be very interesting and helpful to start a topic about Health.

> So, can you please list some of the private clinics & public hospitals in Bulgaria?

> What about dental care? May be some tips about the costs?

Pharmacies - there are if anything too many so that's nothing to worry about. Dentists - excellent dentists aplenty (but DO GET RECOMMENDATIONS!!!!), prices are a fraction of the cost of the UK with the dentist often giving you a choice of materials to work with, depending on your budget.

A typical filling will be 40-60 BGN in a private practice, depending on the size of cavity.

I've had my teeth done here for 15 years, having lived in the UK for 20. Every one of my close UK friends do the same also, with a dentist trip planned every time they are here (5 people got seen in one sitting the day before they left after 10 days in Bansko this winter).
