Hey guys,

is here anybody in Kep and would be able to help?

A nicer Introduction of myself and more details would follow, of course .... ☺

Hi Rick,

There are some of us, living actually in Kep, that can probably help.

Waiting for the « nicer introduction of yourself », as you says, and more details about what are you looking for.

Cheers,
Marcelo

Hello Marcelo,

thank you very much for replying!
It is really soothing to meet other Kep expats on this site :)

I guess it is not necessary to repeat what I wrote about me in the profile. Just please let me add that my next step -- in the pretty special step of totaly changing life -- is to find a lodging where I can feel like "home".

For that I would need (as a minimum):
- 1 room
- private bathroom
- clean (no horrible insects)
- quite (espacially in the night)
- dry (during rain season as well)
- nice view, resp. surrounding
- fridge or a place for it

Do these informations give you enough for what I´m lookig for?

Cheers,
Rick

Hello Rick,

I know a place, here in Kep, that can probably meet your needs ... :-)

For any details PM me !

When are you coming to visit the area ?

I'm going back to France beginning May. Again in Kep beginning November this year.

Cheers,
Marcelo

@ Rick N : Please feel free to have a look at the Housing in Cambodia section as well. You might find what you are looking for.
Also feel free to post your search in the same section.

Hi Barry,

great to hear.
At the moment I have a bungalow minimum until end of June.
But who knows... ;)

Maybe we can meet here in Kep in the next days?
For example I'm going to ChauChau Restaurant at Crab Market tomorrow (Thursday) evening at around 7pm...

Cu, Rick

Hi Rick,

ok, I'll look into ChauChau tomorrow just after 7 p.m. - how will I recognise you?

Barry

Good question ;)

Short hair, with a black clothes around my left wrist...

ok, see u then

Hhi Barry,

the plan for tomorrow changed: in Villa Kep (you know the Salsa Dancing one, after the Kep Market?) will be a Vietnam Cousine evening.
Sounds interesting and the cook is quite good.
So, same time and outfit, different place ;)

Hi Rick

I know the place well - the owner is a friend of mine - actually tomorrow is a Lebanese cuisine evening, I believe!?

But ok, see you at Kep Villa!

Hi Rick_N, Attempted to send you a PM, but that feature is not activated on your account.

Anyway, is there actually a Salsa Dance Club in Kep? The only club, here in Bangkok, has a dance-floor that is too small to accommodate the large number of dance couples, on the week-ends.

Pn addition, where is Kep located, in relation to P_Phen? RSVP. Thanks and regards.

Hello jana611,

yes, here is a Salsa Dance Club in Kep.
But don´t expect anything.
The round dancefloor is maybe 6 meter in diameter.
On saturday evening they show some salsa music videos.
But I guess the owner is a good dancer and teacher.

Well, it might be possible to have some fun here, but it may as well be your are alone here, watching the videos...

The location of Kep Villa (and Kep too ;) ) is:
