Visa & Medical Insurance Charges after resignation

Hi,

I am working in Oman for the past 2 yrs & 8months. Due to low pay scale I resigned my job. Now my employer is saying that I have to pay the Visa charges 301R.O & also medical insurance charges 180 R.O. Sum of 480R.O. I have already worked for 8 months after my new visa renewal

Is it mandatory to pay these charges to an employer while resigning ??

Is there any laws states that we have to pay the visa & medical insurance charges at the time of resignation within the Visa period of 2 yrs.

Hi Rohitss,

There is nothing official about any such recovery of an employee's expenses by the employer.

Thanks for your information I'll try to convince them in a smooth manner. If they refuse I'll have to go through a legal way. Once again thank you for your information.
