Hi to all on the forum, I am new to this forum..... and from Canada. My wife and I are just starting our investigation into relocating to Belize with a plan to rent for at least a year.
Visiting sometime this year, but still in the planning stage.
I have heard of this QRP program but I see all the information on the subject very dated last post being in Nov 2015 I think. Is this program still running and has anyone got up to date information.
I understand from another friend it is getting difficult to open a Bank account in Belize is this true?
Any feedback would be welcome and thank you in advance.

QRP still up and running, run via tourist board not immigration. Yes it is difficult and very time consuming for an expat to open a local Belize Bank account, not so much an international one. GO to Beliz .Gov you should find some info on QRP.
