Thanks for the suggestions. I'm on all of them and many more. I am currently putting out 10+ resumes a day with very little responses. I think its coming down to salary and what should be a high paying job being given to people who will accept a much lower wage. Also, to get a high paying job you need to know someone. I've seen a few director level job paying around $2,000 a month which should be $8,000 to $12,000 a month especially in a rich country. This is very disheartening.
Unfortunately many companies in Bahrain do not follow a standard salary policy norm, it could be because of the size of operation. Yes i agree to you on the reference part, i guess about 90% of the recruitment's happen through internal company reference.
