Expat - Living in Putrajaya?!

My husband got a contract from his company and we will soon move to Malaysia. We have searched for an arabic international school and found IMAS which is located in Putrajaya. My husband's office is in Bangsar area, and according to Google map it's around 30-40 minutes drive from putrajaya.
Is putrajaya ok for expats? And is it possible to drive to bangsar within 30-40 minutes? Any advice are highly appreciated.. Also if there are other arabic international school close to bangsar or Mont kiara?

Commuting north in the morning and south in the evening is going to take up to 2 hrs on the road. It's best to try and travel against the general flow. The 30-40 minutes cited is not rush hour traffic conditions. Bangsar has difficult traffic conditions.

There is a fast train service from Putrajaya to Sentral Station taking about 25 mins. That may be a better option to driving. https://www.kliaekspres.com/plan-buy/fares-passes/  But it does depend which part of Bangsar is the destination.

Putrajaya is a bit like Canberra. It's a new city designed mainly as a government office area and accommodation for the civil service workforce. It does have some beautiful landscaping and a shopping mall called  Alamanda https://www.alamanda.com.my/

I don't think many expats live there. It is a traditional Malay environment

There will probably be school buses to these places which gives some freedom of where to live:

Any orhers?

No other with input to putrajaya? Please need more input
We are also been advice by friend who has been in Malaysia before to consider Mont Kiara. But as the also said it is much more expensive with everything. You will get much more for your money in putrajaya, and still consider modern place and safe. Please need your input on that

If you are Islamic, then Putrajaya will be fine for you, as it has a traditional Malay lifestyle. However the commute to Bangsar will  be tedious.

Food :3-4000RM (eating out 2x a week)
Util: 1500rm (electricity, broadband, phone etc..)
Car 2500rm (loan + gas)
